B&H is pleased to announce the first autofocus lens in the Venus Optics lineup, the Laowa 10mm f/2.8 Zero-D FF Autofocus Lens for Nikon Z-mount and Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Also available as a manual focus lens for Canon RF-mount and L-mount cameras, the lens’s rectilinear optical design produces close-to-zero distortion with an expansive 130° angle of view, making it an ideal choice for architecture, landscape, and astrophotography applications.

Less than 3" long and weighing less than a pound, the lens offers accurate and reliable autofocus performance in its compact and lightweight build and includes focus tracking abilities. The lens’s intricate optical design allows for a close focusing distance of 4.7" and features five aperture blades in its diaphragm, resulting in unique and aesthetic ten-point sun-stars. The lens is also available in manual focus, 14-blade options in each of the four mounts.

The lens build further expands creative possibilities for both photo and video applications with the built-in 77mm filter thread. An uncommon feature for ultra-wide-angle lenses, this allows for the addition of light-manipulating filters at the lens’s front end and benefits a wide range of applications.
