Contest to Recognize Nine Exceptional Teachers for the Pivotal Role They Play in Their Communities

In recognition of the invaluable role teachers play in our communities, Sam’s Club announces its Classroom Champions contest, a unique initiative dedicated to supporting educators across the country. This summer, nine exceptional teachers will each receive $5,000 in Sam’s Cash™, allowing them to shop for all their back-to-school needs at Sam’s Club.

Sam’s Club is calling on teachers nationwide for this incredible opportunity. From July 24, 2024, at 12:00 AM ET to August 6, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET, teachers can enter the contest by visiting samsclubclassroomchampions.com and answer questions explaining why they should be recognized as a Classroom Champion.

Four teachers have already been chosen by Sam’s Club as Classroom Champions. These teachers were selected because of the positive and endless impact they bring to their schools and students. The teachers include:

• Hillary Seides: A second-grade teacher who is passionate about supporting fellow educators in enhancing their teaching practices and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
• Dorothy Honey Mallari: A second-grade teacher who takes great pride in bringing her own multicultural experiences into the classroom to make learning engaging for her students.
• Bryce Sizemore: A kindergarten teacher who loves teaching, specifically because of the wonder and natural curiosity students have.
• Lisa Nicholson: A fifth-grade teacher who believes being a teacher is more than just work. It is a rewarding journey to watch children learn and grow and become the best versions of themselves.
