TWO (Two Harbors Investment Corp, NYSE: TWO) is sad to announce the passing of W. Reid Sanders, who served as a member of its Board of Directors since the company’s inception in October 2009.

Reid had a long and distinguished career in the commercial real estate and financial services industries. Most recently, he was President of Sanders Properties, Inc., a real estate company that he founded, and served on the board of directors for several public and private companies, including TWO. He was well-known in his community for his lifelong commitment to philanthropy, including as a director, trustee and benefactor of several nonprofit organizations throughout the Southeast. His professional and personal legacies will leave an indelible mark on those who had the good fortune to know, work and serve with him.
