The announcement coincides with National Forest Products Week, which recognizes the environmental and economic value of sustainable forestry. LP’s collaboration with the First Nations Forestry Council funds scholarships for Indigenous students in the Indigenous Forestry Trades Program, which combines classroom learning with a paid practicum and mentorship from industry professionals.
