IP Infusion, a global leader in open networking software solutions, today announced that Nextlink Internet, a fast-growing Internet Service Provider serving the rural heartland of America, has deployed IP Infusion’s OcNOS Service Provider and Data Center software running on Edgecore hardware in production across key areas of its middle mile and data center infrastructure.

OcNOS enables advanced traffic engineering capabilities, including Segment Routing (SR), MPLS, and ISIS, and integrates with Edgecore’s open hardware platforms supporting 100G and 400G interfaces. Seamless integration with Nextlink’s NETCONF/YANG-based network automation tools further enhances operational efficiency and deployment flexibility.
