Austin FC and Q2 Announce the 2025 “Q-mmunity Gives” Grant Recipients; $150,000 Awarded to Local Nonprofits

Breakthrough Central Texas, Marbridge Foundation, and Saint Louise House named recipients of the fifth annual Q-mmunity Gives grant program

Austin FC and Q2 Holdings, Inc. today announced the three (3) recipients of the 2025 Q-mmunity Gives grant program. Local nonprofit organizations Breakthrough Central Texas, Marbridge Foundation, and Saint Louise House will each receive a $50,000 grant to focus on their respective missions.

“We’d like to congratulate Breakthrough Central Texas, Marbridge Foundation, and Saint Louise House on being named this year’s grant recipients,” said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane. “We are extremely proud to work alongside our partners at Q2 for a fifth consecutive year in an effort to support local organizations that remain committed to assisting underrepresented communities in Central Texas.”

“At Q2, our mission is to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions,” said Q2 Chairman and CEO Matt Flake. “We’re proud to join Austin FC in supporting this year’s grant recipients and look forward to seeing the lasting impact they’ll make across Central Texas.”

For more than 20 years, Breakthrough Central Texas has partnered with thousands of middle and high school students who aspire to be the first in their family to graduate with a degree or certificate. Breakthrough makes a radical, long-term commitment to students to and through college, unlocking the power of education and a lifetime of opportunity.

“Breakthrough Central Texas is incredibly honored to be a recipient of the Q-mmunity Gives grant program this year. We are truly grateful for Austin FC and Q2's partnership and for their investment in our students as they work to become the first in their family to earn a college degree or certificate,” said Breakthrough Central Texas Executive Director Michael Griffith. “Our grant will support our Middle School Summer Academy, where our students begin the foundation of their educational journey and a cornerstone in their postsecondary pathways.”

Marbridge is a non-profit residential community that offers transitional and lifetime care to adults with a wide range of cognitive disabilities and provides them opportunities to learn, experience, and achieve a new life.

“Marbridge serves 275 adults with a variety of cognitive, intellectual, and physical disabilities,” said Marbridge Vice President of Development Becca McPherson. “With incredibly valued partnerships through local businesses within our community engagement departments, like Q2/Austin FC, Marbridge’s mission becomes stronger while being able to provide our residents an environment to experience health, safety, well-being, and a place to thrive.”

Saint Louise House is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the success of women and their children moving from homelessness to healthy, independent lives. The organization’s proven program provides stable housing and wraparound services with highly individualized support that fosters education, financial literacy, strong family relationships and healthy living, leading to a lifetime of self-sufficiency.

“We are deeply grateful to the Q-mmunity Gives grant program for investing in the futures of the children and families we serve. Experiencing homelessness as a child can make it harder to stay in school and to believe graduation is within reach,” said Saint Louise House Executive Director Laura Ward. “Through our Academic Success Initiative, this support will help children remain stably housed with their mothers while receiving the consistent encouragement and resources they need to succeed in school and in life.”

The grants will contribute directly to aiding each organization in its respective mission related to promoting equity and inclusion in Central Texas. The Q-mmunity Gives grant program, funded and presented by Austin FC and Q2, will continue to award Q-mmunity Gives grants annually.
