Metronet Announces 100% Fiber-Optic Network Build

Metronet, named the “Fastest Major ISP in the Nation” by PCMag for two consecutive years, has announced it’s bringing its 100% fiber-optic internet network to Mount Pleasant, Wis. This privately funded, multimillion-dollar project will bring lightning-fast, multigigabit speeds to local residents and businesses, offering up to five gigabits per second for homes and up to ten gigabits per second for businesses.

Construction will begin soon and progress neighborhood by neighborhood. Residents will see Metronet crews in the area and receive advance notice of upcoming work through mailers, yard signs, and other community communications at least 30 days before construction begins. All Metronet personnel will be clearly identified with company-branded vehicles and ID badges.
