WINNIPEG, MB: Clean Line, a Winnipeg plumbing company, has acquired a customized steam flush truck for large-scale commercial pipe cleaning.
Steam flushing is a pipe cleaning technique that uses superheated, high-pressure steam to break down thick grease, fat, and other hard-to-clean deposits from sewer lines, drain stacks, and other hard-to-access pipes.
Clean Line’s large-scale steam flush truck was designed and mechanically modified by the Clean Line team, with the goal of better serving large commercial buildings in Winnipeg.
The truck features digitally controlled temperature for precise controls, allowing it to handle both metal and plastic pipes and blockages of all kinds. The truck provides a high GPM (gallons-per-minute), allowing it to rapidly flush large systems. The truck is multifunctional, allowing it to handle any steam flushing job.
The team at Clean Line is primarily using the truck in grease removal; it steams vertical stacks as well as parkade horizontals. The truck has been used in industrial settings and is equipped to clean 22-story buildings. The two truck operators have 25 and 19 years of experience, respectively; they are the only two people in Manitoba who can do the work they do.
