The event is hosted by the China Corporate Sports Association and the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Broadcasting, and Sports, with support from the World Corporate Sports Federation, Hainan Provincial Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Broadcasting, and Sports, and the Sanya Municipal Government. Various national industry sports associations and local organizations also assisted in the event.

Notable guests at the opening ceremony included Duan Shijie, former Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sport of China; Zhang Shiping, former Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions; Sun Kanglin, former Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal People's Congress; Wang Xianzheng, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Coal Industry and former President of the China National Coal Association; Song Luzeng, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia and former Director of the International Liaison Department of the General Administration of Sport; Liu Junzhu, Director and Party Secretary of the Social Sports Center of the General Administration of Sport; Ji Yunxi, President of the China Corporate Sports Association; Xie Yifa, Deputy Secretary-General of the Sanya Municipal Government; and Moussa Lamy, Secretary-General of the World Corporate Sports Federation.

During the opening ceremony, flag bearers from 45 teams proudly entered the venue, showcasing the vigorous development of sports among workers in various industries. The cultural performance featured lively and warm Hainanese folk songs and dances, while participants showcased their skills through group dance and fitness demonstrations, highlighting the diversity of worker sports.

The China Workers' Beach Games is the first comprehensive beach sports event in the country, founded in 2019 by the China Corporate Sports Association and the Sanya Municipal Government. It aims to leverage Sanya's unique natural conditions and the industry connections of the China Corporate Sports Association to promote beach sports among workers nationwide, supporting the national fitness strategy. Additionally, it brings both domestic and international participants to Sanya, fostering the integration of beach sports with local sports tourism.

Starting this year, the event has been upgraded to an international competition, inviting the World Corporate Sports Federation to participate in the organization and recruit foreign teams, surpassing the inaugural event in terms of project variety, scale, and international participation.

In his speech, Ji Yunxi, President of the China Corporate Sports Association, stated: "Worker sports are an important part of our country's sports industry, and beach sports are among the most vibrant and healthy activities. This event will further promote the diversified development of worker sports in China and enhance unity and friendship among workers from different countries."

Xie Yifa, Deputy Secretary-General of the Sanya Municipal Government, mentioned in his remarks that Sanya boasts exceptional coastal tourism resources and advantageous geographic positioning, leading to a thriving sports tourism sector. "We will seize the opportunity to host various sporting events to integrate resources, enhance Sanya's urban appeal and influence, and help establish the city as a hub for sports events and a national sports tourism demonstration zone, providing strong momentum for the transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry."

Moussa Lamy, Secretary-General of the World Corporate Sports Federation, expressed: "Sports are a common pursuit for workers from all countries seeking a healthy lifestyle. We are delighted to see you organizing such a large-scale worker sports event, promoting and practicing this healthy lifestyle concept."
