Young CEO Squad Expands to 250+ Classrooms, Empowering the Next Generation of Young Entrepreneurs

By: Get News

Los Angeles, CA - November 3, 2025 - Young CEO Squad, a fast-growing entrepreneurship education program for elementary and middle school students, has reached a major milestone – it’s now implemented in over 250 classrooms nationwide. Founded by entrepreneur and educator Suzanne Appel, the program helps students (grades 3-8) build confidence, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills through hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for the future of work.

As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to reshape the economy, careers, and the classroom itself, adaptability and creativity are becoming just as valuable as technical skills. Young CEO Squad is helping students develop these lifelong capabilities through real-world learning – where kids learn business by doing business.

“We don’t know what careers will drive the economy in 2040,” said Appel. “But we do know that growth mindset, problem-solving, adaptability, communication, and teamwork will be critical no matter what the future looks like. Entrepreneurship gives kids a way to practice those skills now.”

Real-World Readiness Made Simple for Classrooms

Young CEO Squad’s curriculum-aligned workshops are practical and require minimal prep time. With three kits to choose from – Keychains, Stickers, and Reusable, Straws – Young CEO Squad guides kids through every step of building a small business. Each kit includes a student-friendly guidebook, worksheets, and products to resell, giving students a complete hands-on experience that’s fun and educational.

Through these activities, students:

  • Learn to set goals, price products, and calculate ROI

  • Develop communication and customer-service skills

  • Channel creativity into productive ventures

  • Build self-confidence and accountability

Every element of the program reinforces the belief that failure is an opportunity for growth and that early success builds long-term interest in entrepreneurship. It empowers teachers to facilitate authentic learning experiences that combine career readiness education, financial literacy for kids, and 21st century skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.

Building Toward a More Inclusive Future

As Young CEO Squad expands, the company aims to develop college scholarship initiatives to support low-income families, furthering its mission to make education accessible to all learners.

By blending business education with creativity, inclusivity, and real-world relevance, Young CEO Squad is preparing the next generation not just to succeed in the workforce, but to lead it.
