(“Aardvark”) (Nasdaq: AARD), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel, small-molecule therapeutics to activate innate homeostatic pathways for the treatment of metabolic diseases, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,888,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $16.00 per share. All of the shares are being offered by Aardvark. The gross proceeds to Aardvark from the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $94.2 million. Aardvark’s common stock is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on February 13, 2025 under the ticker symbol “AARD.” The offering is expected to close on February 14, 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. In addition, Aardvark has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 883,200 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
