Tick Alert: Quest for Safety Game Takes Center Stage at Programming Room (CBA) in C. Burr Artz Public Library

Fredrick, Maryland Oct 31, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Ticks pose a significant health risk and require a safe and interactive program to spread awareness, such as the Test Tick Alert: Quest for Safety Game. The Lyme Education Awareness Foundation (LEAF), better known as the Leaf Program, Inc. has come up with the initiative to raise awareness about tick safety and prevention through an engaging and educational event.

It is scheduled to take place in the Programming Room (CBA) on November 18, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This event has a goal to educate young ones as well as adults about the safety practices for tick bites. With the right prevention methods, there is a chance to get away from diseases caused by ticks.

The event is titled 'Tick Alert: Quest for Safety Game'. This demonstration offers an interactive game to be tested and explained by Dr. Nancy Fox.

It will be hosted by C. Burr Artz Public Library in Frederick MD.

The attendees will go through a fun and educational experience that is designed to teach players of all ages about tick-borne diseases and how to protect themselves and their families from tick bites. https://www.cdc.gov/ticks/avoid/on_people.html

The Tick Alert game combines entertainment with vital information which makes it more engaging and helps to instill knowledge about tick habitats, identification, and safe removal techniques. By making the learning process interactive and enjoyable, the event aims to empower the community with knowledge that could potentially save lives.

The success of this event depends on how better they can channel knowledge among the masses as ticks can transmit various diseases, including Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. https://www.cdc.gov/ticks/avoid/on_people.html

By understanding the importance of tick safety and prevention, individuals can take proactive measures to protect themselves and their loved ones.

The Leaf Program, Inc. is inviting community members of all ages to participate in this event at The C. Burr Artz Public Library and enjoy the Tick Alert: Quest for Safety Game. They believe humans can learn, play, and work towards a safer environment for everyone. Get to know more about The Leaf Program, Inc. at http://theleafprogram.org.
