Fullman Firm is pleased to announce we have awarded the Debt Relief Scholarship for Spring 2023 to Magali Reyes, a student at West Coast University.
“I am beyond thrilled to be a recipient of the Debt Relief Scholarship for Spring 2023,” said Ms. Reyes. “This opportunity provides me with the resources to focus on my educational goals while helping reduce the negative effects that student debt places on me”
Because of the rising tuition costs facing college-bound students, we offered this scholarship opportunity to lessen the need for student loans. To qualify, applicants were required to submit a 500-1,000 word essay on either the effect of student debt on U.S. individuals or the effect of scholarships and debt relief programs on students.
Our scholarship committee found many of the submissions clear, articulate, and well-written, but Magali’s essay on the effect of student debt was compelling, personal, and thoughtful. She ended the essay with, “While it will remain a burden, I will not allow it to derail the pursuit of my success,” which was inspiring.
“Thank you again to The Fullman Firm for the support in my academic endeavors,” Magali said. “I can better apply myself to my studies and pursuit of becoming a Registered Nurse.”
