Los Angeles, California – California Consumer Attorneys, P.C., also known as The Lemon Firm, is excited to announce its Annual Consumer Advocacy Scholarship, an initiative aimed at inspiring and supporting future champions of consumer rights. This $1,000 scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in or planning to attend law school who demonstrate a passion for protecting consumers and pursuing justice.
Scholarship Details:
- Amount: $1,000
- Eligibility: Students enrolled in an accredited California university, college, or law school or those planning to attend law school in California. Applicants must be 18 years old by the start of the fall semester and a resident of California or attending school in California.
- Deadline: October 1, 2025
Essay Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit a 400-600 word essay addressing the following topic:
California’s laws provide numerous protections to the consumer. Identify one such law and describe how it has successfully functioned to promote the goal of consumer protection.
Essays will be evaluated on creativity, clarity, informativeness, and organization. In addition to the essay, applicants must include their name, contact information, school details, graduation year, and GPA at the top of their submission.
Application Process
Submissions must be emailed to lemonfirmscholarship@gmail.com with the subject line “CCA 2025 Scholarship Submission.”
By applying, participants agree to allow The Lemon Firm to use their name and school affiliation on its website and social media channels if selected as the winner.
Judging and Award Process
The Lemon Firm’s legal team will select the scholarship winner, who will be notified via email within 30 days of the application deadline. The $1,000 award will be distributed as a check payable to an accredited college, university, or law school and can be used for educational expenses.
If the winner does not respond within 30 days of notification or fails to meet the contest terms, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to another applicant.
