AQ Cares and the Chicopee Comp Girls Varsity Volleyball team brought costumes, treats, and joy to Miracle League kids at the “Field of Treats” event, promoting inclusion, teamwork, and accessible fall fun in Western Massachusetts.
-- Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding’s community outreach arm, AQ Cares, teamed up with the Chicopee Comprehensive High School Girls Varsity Volleyball team to bring costumes, candy, and big smiles to the Miracle League of Western Massachusetts “Field of Treats” celebration on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The Halloween-themed event invited Miracle League athletes and their families to trick-or-treat around the diamond, meet high-school athletes, and enjoy an afternoon of inclusive fall fun.
“Seeing our community rally around these incredible kids is what AQ Cares is all about,” said Morgan Bennett, Marketing & Development Director at Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding. “And to be able to help the girls of the Chicopee Comp Volleyball team experience that same joy was an added treat. From superheroes to a pretty purple fairy, the costumes were awesome but the real magic was the joy on the field. We’re proud to support the Miracle League’s mission of making play accessible for every child.”
Players from the Chicopee Comp girls varsity volleyball team helped host game stations, hand out treats, and escort Miracle League athletes around the bases. “It was so special to spend the day with the Miracle League kids,” said a member of the Chicopee Comp Girls Varsity Volleyball team. “Seeing their excitement when they ran the bases or showed off their costumes reminded us what sports are really about, teamwork, joy, and connection.”
The Miracle League of Western Massachusetts provides an adaptive, supportive environment where children with disabilities can experience the joy of baseball, no prior experience required. Volunteers and community partners make each season possible.
