TOKYO, JAPAN (Merxwire) – According to a survey by the Japan Tourism Agency, the average tourist expenditure per person in Japan reaches 150,000 yen, of which about 100,000 yen (67%) is spent on domestic consumption. At the same time, accommodation expenses account for 27%, becoming the largest expenditure item. To attract overseas tourists, hoteliers have launched various special services and discounts, and luxury breakfast has become one of the important considerations for tourists when choosing a hotel, thus triggering fierce competition for luxury breakfast.

My-Best.com has compiled information from multiple travel websites and recommended several popular breakfast hotels based on customers’ evaluations of breakfast meals, dining environment, cultural experience, and other factors. The top five hotels are CENTURY MARINA HAKODATE in Hakodate, THE GATE HOTEL RYOGOKU by HULIC in Tokyo, Tateshina Grand Hotel TAKINOYU in Nagano, Arcana Izu in Shizuoka and HOTEL THE CELESTINE KYOTO GION in Kyoto.

CENTURY MARINA HAKODATE, located in Hakodate, is widely praised for its luxurious breakfast. Inspired by fishing port markets, the restaurant serves a healthy breakfast using fresh seafood from Hokkaido and locally produced ingredients. The hotel has an excellent location, with an infinity spa on the top floor and overlooking the night view of Hakodate City, attracting countless tourists.

THE GATE HOTEL RYOGOKU by HULIC offers a variety of breakfast options. In addition to eggs Benedict and French toast, the hotel’s specialty is an open sandwich called “Smallbrown.” Travelers can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the riverside restaurant facing the Sumida River.

Tateshina Grand Hotel TAKINOYU in Nagano is a historic hot spring hotel. Visitors can enjoy a comfortable bathing experience in stream baths, spectacular waterfall rock baths, and forest baths. Its breakfast buffet offers more than 70 mouth-watering dishes using seasonal ingredients prepared by chefs on-site.

The breakfast at Arcana Izu is themed: “Enjoying a fun picnic in the forest.” Visitors can taste fresh vegetables and freshly made egg dishes, enjoy the green scenery through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and experience a unique forest dining experience.

HOTEL THE CELESTINE KYOTO GION in Kyoto integrates the rich Kyoto culture and provides a buffet breakfast based on kaiseki cuisine. The dining table seats are separated by fashionable Kyoto plaid, allowing travelers to enjoy delicious food while also enjoying the physical and mental benefits. Relax.

With the booming development of Japan’s tourism economy, accommodation costs account for the main proportion of tourism consumption, and breakfast has become one of the additional services most hotels provide and one factor that travelers pay most attention to when choosing a hotel. Therefore, standing out among delicious breakfast hotels has become the focus of fierce competition among hoteliers. As major travel websites continue to publish recommended lists of luxury breakfast hotels, planning a breakfast and gourmet trip to Japan to taste the carefully designed meals and dining experiences in each hotel is an excellent choice for travelers.
