The effort focuses on practical, durable items that address everyday needs following hardship or disruption.

What goes in each box (typical contents):

- Light & safety: solar lanterns with phone‑charging capability, basic first‑aid items, and whistle/reflective strips
- Learning & livelihoods: notebooks, pencils, crayons, age‑appropriate readers, and simple tool kits (per local partner guidance)
- Local alignment: items sourced or packed to complement—not replace—local markets and services
The project is carried out in coordination with community organizations, clinics, and schools in Ghana to guide distribution, avoid duplication, and ensure that boxes reach families and students with verified needs. Packaging is optimized for efficient shipping and last‑mile delivery, using sturdy cartons sized for hand‑carry and motorbike transport where roads are limited.
"The emphasis on listening first and sending only what is useful is exactly what our communities have asked for," noted Joshua Amartey, White Glove Restoration partner representative in Ghana. "The education and lighting kits, especially, make an immediate difference for students and caregivers."
