YC-backed Wavedash raises $4.3M to bring high-end PC games to the browser, launches public beta with Walaber

Click a link and you’re playing. Wavedash lets people play PC games directly in their browser, starting with Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX from indie developer Walaber. The company has raised $4.3M led by Floodgate’s Mike Maples, Jr., with support from Y Combinator and other investors including Rebel Fund, Brainstorm Ventures, Griffin Gaming Partners, and Jawed Karim.

(PRUnderground) December 15th, 2025

Wavedash today announced the launch of its public beta. Wavedash is a browser-first platform for high-end PC games that lets players click a link and start playing in seconds — with no launcher, no large download, and no special hardware required.

Wavedash was founded by Kyler Blue, Raymond George Kennedy, and Matt Portner. The founders built Wavedash after years of feeling stuck in the old model: games that take hours to download, and painful updates that leave friends waiting around before anyone can actually play together. In a world where powerful chips and modern browsers are everywhere, that no longer makes sense. That’s the gaming of yesterday. Wavedash is built for tomorrow.

The public beta launches with Wavedash’s first partner title, Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX, a new arcade racing game from indie developer Walaber, known for Jellycar Worlds and Replicube. The same link that starts a race can also work as a multiplayer lobby invite URL, making it easy for friends to join from their own devices.

“We want playing a PC game to feel as frictionless as opening a website,” said Kyler Blue, co-founder and CEO of Wavedash. “Click a link and you’re playing.”

“The best thing about the web is how easy it is to share a link,” said Walaber. “A new premium distribution platform that removes as many barriers as possible for potential players? Count me in!”

Wavedash also announced it has raised $4.3M led by Floodgate’s Mike Maples, Jr., with support from Y Combinator and other investors including Rebel Fund, Brainstorm Ventures, Griffin Gaming Partners, and Jawed Karim.

Availability
The Wavedash public beta goes live Monday, Dec 15, 2025 at 9:00am ET. Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX will be available at launch.
