Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Scheduled for Thursday, September 25 at 10:30 am

Doherty Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of a full remodel of its Applebee’s® Neighborhood Grill + Bar located at 200 Airport Plaza Blvd., Farmingdale, NY. The refreshed restaurant features contemporary light fixtures, upgraded booth and bar seating, and vibrant, neighborhood-inspired murals designed to reflect the spirit of Farmingdale. Renovation crews worked overnight and in the early morning hours for several weeks, allowing the restaurant to remain open for guests throughout the project.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the newly remodeled restaurant will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.  Kurt Pahlitzsch, Vice President of Casual Dining for Doherty Enterprises, will be joined by local elected officials and community VIPs to officially unveil the updated dining room.

“This refreshed Applebee’s reflects the energy of Farmingdale and the families who dine here,” said Kurt Pahlitzsch. “We’re excited to welcome neighbors back into a space that’s more comfortable and inviting — a place for everyday meals and community gatherings.”
