A cross-disciplinary entrepreneur, investor, and technologist, Liu brings a rare blend of deep technical rigor and global commercialization experience across AI, energy systems, fintech, and emerging markets. As Co-Founder and CEO of Fam Capital, a multinational venture firm headquartered in Palo Alto with offices in Hong Kong and Dubai, he has led over $150 million in cross-border investments across AI infrastructure and decentralized finance, helping bridge deep-tech ecosystems between Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

Liu previously served as Leading Expert of AI at one of the world’s largest energy companies. There, he led advanced industrial AI initiatives, including the development of the world’s first energy-focused AI computing cloud and large-scale AI systems for smart grid reliability and autonomous optimization. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT and Fintech from Harvard University and has advised founders and institutions globally at the frontier of AI, infrastructure, and market innovation.

In his new role at Luffa, Liu will oversee core technology strategy, AI architecture, decentralized infrastructure design, and engineering execution across product, data, and security.
