Film Hatch Media Brings a Story of Survival and Joy Amidst Racism and War

By: WebWire

Film Hatch Media is an international-level video production house taking pride in the excellent service of its skilfully talented teams. Ranging from content to creative writing, video content production, short movies, and any other services needed in the film industry, FHM strives to meet client demands no matter the niche. Rufus Daigle's “Felicia's Prince of the Morning Star” has captured the attention of the company with its riveting tale.

Felicia's Prince of the Morning Star follows the life of Angelo Lafleur, a young African American born to a mother who cleans houses for the white people. Perceiving the family struggles at an early age, Angelo craves a life where he lives by his decisions and not by the disturbingly fascist thinking of his racist environment.

Called to serve the army during his teens, Angelo witnessed the haunting Vietnam War after encountering altercations filled with hateful prejudice that lands him in the brig. Without the liberty to defend himself in a court-martial, Angelo finds himself in chains and forced to earn his freedom if he survives the frontlines in the Battle of Khe Sanh.

The author understands the very horror his protagonist goes through, and thus, he is able to deliver a complex, sensitive, violent coming-of-age story that still manages to resonate with healing, hope, and happiness.

Rufus Daigle's “Felicia's Prince of the Morning Star” is a thorough examination of the destruction of war as well as the lasting effect of racism on the human psyche. A great survivalist story of courageous tenacity, this read will teach and inspire you to persevere through the hardships and find serenity in your truth and determination.
