Cruz, a Puerto Rican native living in Texas, felt overwhelmed by the vast amount of information that is online when she started in the space on August of 2021. “I remember how scared I was of sending money from one exchange to another, thinking I will lose it all.” This is common when people come from a poor background.
Cruz is educating women since the space is dominated by males. She emphasizes, “ I remember how alone it feels being one of the few women minority full-time educators, and bot traders in USA. As a polyglot with an inordinate amount of knowledge about crypto along with financial literacy, Cruz created this simple, short to the point ebook to aid in the speed towards mass adoption.
It is known, that most Americans are in debt, and lack knowledge on how to leverage their money like the wealthy people do. This is what started Mari, like she prefers to be called, down the crypto rabbit hole. “I want the Black and Latino communities to work smart, not hard. I fully believe that the poor can be richer when they enter this opportunity early enough. Mari criticizes the government for not doing enough to narrow down the generational wealth gap. Crypto knowledge is one of the wealth tools of our time!” Cruz declares.
“And I understand how most people repeat incorrect information without being in the space, because I was one of them. But once you have direct experience you’ll fall in love with the space just like I did.”
After learning about crypto she created the book to help others get onboarded safely into Crypto. Cruz says, “this book breaks it apart so that anyone and everyone can understand."
