In order to protect the forest and improve the yield and quality of Juncao, and at the same time to find a new way of sustainable development of the mushroom industry that can help people to get rid of poverty and get rich, many agricultural and forestry experts have devoted themselves to the research of innovation in Juncao technology.
LIN Caiwei, an agricultural engineer, was born in 1983 and graduated from Xinjiang Shihezi University, now he is the Chairman and General Manager of Danzhou Muchun Ecological and Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. He has a high sensitivity to planting, seedling promotion and breeding of Juncao, and is good at using theoretical knowledge and planting experience to solve the problems found in the development of Juncao or edible and medicinal mushroom industry. In response to the ecological problem of “contradiction between mushroom and forest” in traditional edible and medicinal mushroom technology, LIN Caiwei has been developed the method of Juncao edible fungi bag and mycelium cultivation, this method is a new planting technology, it is different from the traditional planting method, it does not need wood as raw material and does not destroy forest, truly achieved the pursue of “grass instead of wood”. In which, A Method for Making Artificial Seeds of Pennisetum Giganteum uses the axillary buds at the base of the stalk of Pennisetum Giganteum after scientific treatment as the explants, and take the irregular upper part of the seed buds as the artificial seeds, injects the artificial endosperm made of sodium alginate, MS medium, naphthalene acetic acid, indole butyric acid, sucrose and activated carbon into the centrifuge tube, then injects CaCl2 solution, cured to form Pennisetum Giganteum seed capsule, mix sodium alginate, prululan polysaccharide and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose to make artificial seed coat, put the artificial seed into the capsule shell and cover it. This invention is applicable to the mechanized sowing production of Pennisetum Giganteum seeds, which shortens the culture cycle of its seeds, reduces the cost and improves the production efficiency.
