We were pulling out and my light turned green, so I pulled out and when we turned right, this car, this white car, I don't know if it was an SUV or or a van, but anyway, came flying through the light, hit us. We, uh, were spun up on the curb and then I saw him. Spinning out down there and going across the highway backwards um and then all these cops started going past us so I figured it must have been a high speed chase because they went past us instead of stopping to help us and and then they turned around and came back but um that's what it was it was somebody was speeding really fast and we pulled out and hit us. Yeah what were you thinking in that moment? Um, I just wanna make sure my mom was OK. I was, I grabbed on to her and said, Are you OK? and she said, yeah. So I'm doing fine, yeah, pretty scary adrenaline was going, you see the guy actually get out of the car? No, I didn't see any of that at that point because I was making sure, you know, I was watching her and making sure that everything was OK and then there was so much traffic then going through there that um we couldn't see over there. I don't, I didn't know if he kept going. I didn't think he would because his car looked like it was probably. Damaged is bad, um, but they said that they did catch him he did get outrun so. How are you feeling now in the aftermath of all this? I'm happy that we're OK. That's the main thing we're fine. I'm good, yeah. Just was talking about getting a new car that I needed to start preparing to get a new car and boom. I've got to get a new car. Yeah, yeah, so we're very lucky.
