A 17-year-old boy has died and one man is seriously injured after a shooting in Durham on Sherwood Drive.

THIS IS A LOOK AT THE SHOOTING SCENE ON SHERWOOD DRIVE IN DURHAM. &gt;&gt; THAT'S WHERE A 17 YEAR-OLD WAS KILLED IN A MAN WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WITH LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES. THE BUREAU'S CARLY HAYNES IS THERE LIVE NOW. THERE'S STILL A VERY ACTIVE INVESTIGATION BEHIND ARE CURRENTLY SEVERAL APARTMENTS AND VEHICLES WERE HIT BY GUNFIRE. &gt;&gt; YES, AND GERALD, AS YOU MENTIONED, THAT LATEST UPDATE THAT WE NOW KNOW AS 17 YEAR-OLD HAS DIED FROM THIS. THIS IS AS CLOSE AS WE CAN GET TO THE SCENE RIGHT NOW. IT'S STILL BLOCKED OFF WITH CRIME SCENE TAPE. WE ARE SEEING THE DO DURHAM MOBILE COMMAND UNIT AS WELL A LOT OF DURHAM POLICE CARS HERE. &gt;&gt; AND THEN I WANT YOU TO PAY ATTENTION TO THAT. A VEHICLE THAT RIGHT IN FRONT RIGHT THERE. THERE'S A SHATTERED REAR WINDSHIELD AND WE SAW INVESTIGATORS LOOKING AT THAT CAR AS WELL. NOW POLICE SAY THEY RESPONDED TO A SHOOTING HERE ON SHERWOOD DRIVE JUST BEFORE 8 O'CLOCK IN WHEN THEY GOT HERE, THEY FOUND A MALE WHO WAS SHOT. THAT PERSON WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WITH LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES. NOW IT'S NOT CLEAR HOW OLD THAT PERSON WAS AT THIS POINT. &gt;&gt; ALSO, A SHORT TIME LATER, OFFICERS LEARNED THAT A SECOND PERSON HAD BEEN SHOT WHEN THAT PERSON SHOWED UP TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL. THEY ALSO HAVE LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES AND THAT SECOND PERSON IS THIS 17 YEAR-OLD JORAN. FORTUNATELY DIED. NOW, DURHAM POLICE ALSO SAID SEVERAL APARTMENTS AND CARS WERE SHOT AT ONCE AGAIN, POINTING OUT THAT CAR WITH THAT SHATTERED REAR WINDSHIELD. IT WAS POSSIBLE WAS INVOLVED IN THAT POLICE DO SAY, HOWEVER, NOBODY IN ANY OF THE CARS THAT WERE SHOT AT WERE HIT. THIS IS STILL A VERY ACTIVE INVESTIGATION. WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY WORD ON ANY ARRESTS AT THIS POINT. WE ALSO KNOW THAT DURHAM POLICE ARE OFFERING A $2000 REWARD FOR ANY INFORMATION THAT CAN LEAD</p>
