Raleigh police are investigating a shooting on East Millbrook Road, leaving a man with serious injuries. Authorities arrived around 4:45 p.m., finding the victim who was rushed to a hospital. No suspects are in custody, and eastbound lanes remain closed.

HOW'S IT GOING OUT THERE? >> WELL, WE KNOW THIS IS A BUSY TIME OF EVENING AND THIS IS A VERY LARGE INVESTIGATION. I COUNTED AT LEAST 16 RALEIGH POLICE CRUISERS HERE. I WANT TO SHOW YOU EXACTLY WHERE THIS HAPPENED. YOU CAN SEE POLICE HAVE THE ENTIRETY OF EAST MILLBROOK ROAD BETWEEN CAPITOL BOULEVARD AND GREEN ROAD CLOSED DOWN DUE TO THIS INVESTIGATION. RALEIGH POLICE HAVE TOLD US THAT ONE MAN WAS SHOT RIGHT HERE AT THIS BUS. STOP OUTSIDE OF SEAN SHAKE SHACK HERE ON EAST MILLBROOK ROAD. HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WITH SOME PRETTY SERIOUS INJURIES. I SPOKE TO 2 WOMEN WHO WORK AT THE OFFICE BUILDING. THAT'S RIGHT ACROSS FROM THIS BUS STOP. AND THEY TOLD US WHEN THEY LOOKED OUT OF THEIR WINDOW, THEY SAW THAT ADULT MAN LYING ON THE GROUND. THEY SAID IT APPEARED AS IF HE WAS LIFELESS SOON AFTER EMS ARRIVED, HE IMMEDIATELY STARTED DOING CPR AND TOOK HIM AWAY IN AN AMBULANCE RIGHT NOW, THERE IS NO ONE IN CUSTODY IN CONNECTION TO THE SHOOTING.
