Incorporation of the Rock Hill-based practice strengthens access to family-centered pediatric care across South Carolina

Founded by Dr. Raj Patel, Sunshine Pediatrics has earned a long-standing reputation for compassionate, high-quality care for local families. With the addition, Dr. Patel and the existing Sunshine team will remain on staff indefinitely, ensuring continuity of care and treating patients with the same familiar faces they have come to know and trust.
As part of SouthernMED Pediatrics, Sunshine Pediatrics will expand patient access and convenience with new weekday hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a lunch closure from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, while maintaining Saturday morning visits for added flexibility. Families will now also benefit from SouthernMED's robust statewide network, gaining access to telemedicine options, behavioral health and counseling services, online appointment scheduling, and a coordinated pediatric network across South Carolina.
