“Accessibility improves design. When it’s embedded in how we ideate, code and test, then it ensures universal usability,” said Kelly Hermann, Vice President of Accessibility and Student Affairs at University of Phoenix. “The Access Amplified event is about equipping builders and creators with practical techniques and a people centered mindset, so that platforms, interfaces and products are usable by everyone.”

Access Amplified will feature keynotes by Ed Summers, Head of Accessibility at GitHub, speaking on “Continuous AI for Accessibility,” and Karl Groves, Founder of the companies AFixt and Tenon.io, speaking about the need for current action to avoid repeating today’s challenges in the future. A mid-program block of breakouts will offer hands-on guidance including practical HTML/ARIA for front-end developers and accurate ARIA integration across HTML, CSS and JavaScript, plus a panel on strategies that reshape digital experiences.
