Gary Glassman and Monica Dixon Perry bring experience and expertise, enhancing the firm’s national reputation

Led by two industry pioneers, Gary Glassman and Monica Dixon Perry, the veterinary team brings a full-service approach to both financial management and practice management consulting.

Gary Glassman joined BerryDunn as part of the Burzenski merger and, as a Principal in the Outsourced Accounting Practice Group, brings nearly 50 years of veterinary accounting and consulting service experience and commitment to the firm. A frequent speaker at national veterinary conferences, he specializes in financial management and tax planning for veterinary practices and business owners. Glassman’s deep expertise in the areas of practice valuation and sales, merger and acquisition activity, and hospital expansion and financing broadens BerryDunn’s range of outsourced accounting services tailored to the unique needs of veterinary practices.

Monica Dixon Perry, a Senior Manager in BerryDunn’s Outsourced Accounting Practice Group, also joined the firm as part of the merger with Burzenski. Her career has spanned diverse roles in veterinary leadership, from overseeing a multi-doctor hospital to serving as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Mission Veterinary Partners. With more than 38 years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine, Perry is a recognized thought leader and prominent speaker on the global veterinary speaking circuit.

In 2024, Perry served as President of VetPartners and was instrumental in the development of the VetPartners Utilization Guide, an innovative industry resource designed to help veterinary practices improve efficiency and profitability. Named the Practice Management Speaker of the Year at the 2022 VMX Veterinary Meeting and Expo, Perry’s national industry knowledge brings added insight and expertise to BerryDunn clients.
