I’m fresh off a new EP drop, “The Rich Tape.” I just dropped back-to-back singles, “Running Up Levels” and “Things of the Past.” Now I’m back with another double single release — “Can’t Wait” and “Chasing My Dreams” — creating instant traction for the summer.

Please tell us about your journey.

I’m the people’s champ, always the underdog, but somehow, some way, I get the job done — bar metrics. Raised in one of the worst neighborhoods in America, murder and death plagued these streets from childhood. Growing up, you were considered lucky if you could make it to prison — that was better than being in a closed casket.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

My strategy to help me cope and gain success is staying the fuck away from bad energy. Period. Hatred is real, and a lot of people hate themselves, so you know they’re gonna hate you — especially if you have that swag. Some stuff you just can’t fake!
