(PRLeap.com) "Two Wings Poetry: Wings of Angels", a new book by Janice Louise Thompson, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.As a child, starting in third grade, Janice always loved creative writing, which quickly became her favorite subject. Her writing seemed to naturally take on a poetic form, often filled with imaginative rhyming. It was as if everything she wrote had a rhythm, where the first word often echoed the last-like "love from above." She never understood why this was, but it brought her joy. As Janice grew older, her writing style remained consistent, with rhymes continuing to make her smile. Unbeknownst to her, rhyming had become her unique style.
As an adult, while reading the Bible, Janice would often find certain scriptures that sparked her interest. She would write her reflections on the side, always in a poetic format, such as in the case of Luke 8:15, which she wrote as a poem: "those with a noble and good heart." These thoughts were scribbled on whatever piece of paper she could find, with dates marking their significance. In 2009, she suffered a brain aneurysm, but during her recovery, Janice decided to start organizing her poems in dated order. She did not want to take for granted that God was healing her.
Janice began to share her poetry with her daughter and grandsons, they were deeply inspired and encouraged her to compile her thoughts, poems, and quotes into a book. As she shared her writings with others, she was often asked to recite her poems, which led to further encouragement to publish them. Surprised by the depth of what she had written, she realized it wasn't about her-it was a message meant for others, something to be seen through spiritual eyes.
