CLEVELAND, Texas - Nov. 13, 2025 - PRLog -- The Colony Ridge community came together in a powerful show of patriotism and gratitude as International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) schools hosted a moving Veterans Day ceremony, honoring the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The ceremony, held inside the gymnasium at ILTexas MSG Ramirez K-8, brought together students, families, educators, and community members for a morning of reflection and celebration. Student musicians from both ILTexas MSG Ramirez K-8 and ILTexas Liberty High School performed patriotic pieces, filling the space with pride and unity.
The event opened with "Hero's March" by Michael Sweeney, performed by the MSG Ramirez K-8 Band, setting a tone of honor and respect. ROTC students in full uniform stood as a living example of leadership, discipline, and service — values that mirror the spirit of the veterans being celebrated.
The MSG Ramirez K-8 Choir followed with a stirring rendition of "God Bless America," filling the gymnasium with emotion and patriotic pride. The MSG Ramirez K-8 and Liberty High School Orchestra then performed "Amazing Grace" by J. Cameron Law, paying tribute to those who gave their lives in service. The ceremony concluded with a powerful performance of the National Anthem by the Liberty High School Band, uniting everyone present in a moment of reflection and gratitude.
The ceremony also highlighted ILTexas's ongoing expansion in the Colony Ridge community. ILTexas Liberty High School, currently operating on the MSG Ramirez K-8 campus, will move into its new, permanent facility next to the existing school in 2026. Under the leadership of Principal Grisselle Díaz Millet, the new campus will continue ILTexas's mission: to prepare students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish, and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body, and character.
The Veterans Day event showcased how education and community come together in Colony Ridge — honoring the past while inspiring the future. Through collaboration between residents, educators, and students, the community continues to foster values of service, respect, and unity.
