28-Foot Traveling Museum Brings 250 Years of Military History Directly to Schools and Communities

DALLAS-FORT WORTH NORTH TEXAS, Texas - Nov. 17, 2025 - PRLog -- The Sons of Liberty Museum is proud to announce the launch of its newest exhibit, America at 250, in their mobile military history museum that travels to schools, community events, and public spaces. The exhibit features authentic uniforms, artifacts, and memorabilia spanning from the Revolutionary War through present-day conflicts, representing all branches of the U.S. military.

Housed in the USH-Constitution, MM-1776, a custom-designed 28-foot mobile museum, America at 250 offers students and community members an immersive educational experience that brings American military history to life. The traveling exhibit addresses the challenge many schools face in providing hands-on historical education while making meaningful connections to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects.

"Every uniform tells a story. Every medal represents a moment of courage. Every artifact connects us to the men and women who shaped our nation's history," said Museum Director, Jason Weigler. "With America at 250, we're not just preserving military history—we're bringing it directly to the next generation of Americans."

Comprehensive Historical Collection

This mobile museum exhibit features carefully curated displays of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Army Air Forces of WWII representing all major conflicts in American history.

Educational Impact and STEM Integration

The America at 250 exhibit is designed to complement existing curricula while engaging students in critical thinking about history, technology, and innovation.

"We're showing students that history isn't separate from their future careers in STEM fields," Robert Coalter, Museum Director, added. "Military innovation has driven countless technological advances that shape our daily lives."

Community Accessibility and School Partnerships

The Sons of Liberty Museum is actively seeking partnerships with school districts, veteran organizations, and community groups to bring America at 250 to their areas in Texas. The mobile museum can accommodate synchronizing with school curriculum throughout the year.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Organizations and individuals interested in supporting the museum's educational mission can sponsor school visits, ensuring that students experience this unique educational resource regardless of their school's budget constraints. Sponsorship packages are available at multiple levels.

"We believe every student deserves access to their nation's history," said Robert Coalter, Museum Director. "Through our sponsorship program, we're removing financial barriers and making this educational experience available to all."

Capital Campaign

The Sons of Liberty Museum and sister organization Army Air Corps Museum have initiated a capital campaign for a new permanent home for their collections.  Special sponsorship opportunities for individuals and corporations.
