Since its founding, the campaign has:

- Helped survivors transition from domestic violence shelters
- Supported families rebuilding after evictions, fires, job loss, and medical crises
- Built a nationwide network of grassroots volunteers and donors
"We step in where no one else does," says Simone Gordon, founder of the Black Fairy Godmother Foundation. "When a mother is forced to choose between safety and celebration, we show up. Our work is about restoring dignity, restoring hope, and giving families the chance to breathe again."
This year's campaign aims to be the largest in the Foundation's history. The organization is calling on individuals, companies, schools, churches, and civic groups to join as Christmas Angels, donate funds, sponsor families, or send gift cards to cover basic needs.
